New Website!!!!!!

That's right. We have a new website!!! It still needs work and it is still slowly coming along, but I have one! The bones are all there, now to make updates to it. I am hoping to have it complete before December 1st, but we will see. WEBSITE!!!

Right now we are working on updating the blog!! I would love to create a website but I don't think I am at the level to have a website, especially since I am not breeding yet.

It's Been A While!

It has been a while since I last posted. Sorry!!! Now for an update.

Andy- What can I say? He is the best gecko a girl could ask for :-) We have breeding plans for him set up for 2014 if things go as planned. He is as gorgeous as ever and as friendly as ever.

Charlotte- We decided to rename Lizzie. Charlotte just fits her better. She is still as adventurous as ever. She doesn't like to sit still long enough to take pictures but when she does sit still, she poses! We figured out she doesn't like small spaces. I am hoping to POSSIBLY breed her next season.

Roya- My little brat! I am still hoping that this one turns out to be a girl. She is super active and is getting better about handling. I don't have any new pics of her, but I will be hopefully getting some soon!

Introducing Lizzie!!

Let's all give a nice warm welcome to the newest addition to my crested gecko family!! I think we might rename her at some point...

She is such a sweet heart. And she looks gorgeous fired up. Her pictures do not do her justice!!


















Weighed her. She weighs 27 grams. Hopefully will be ready for next season :-)

This Friday I will be having a new gecko to welcome to the family. Her name is Lizzie!!! I don't know much about her so keep out an eye for her post on Friday! Plenty of pictures, and maybe a photo shoot with Unnamed :-) I am trying to not make future plans for her until I see her but it's hard!

Roya

My beautiful little Roya. Mommies dream come true. Me and Roya have some things we need to work on.




My crazy little Roya. She currently doesn't seem to like me too much. I am going to be working with her like crazy. She likes to run away when I try to coax her out. Unfortunately, I don't know much about how much interaction she got from her previous owners. I am suspecting it wasn't much. I am hoping to change that. I want her to love to come out. I know that geckos aren't normally pets that love to be held, but my big boy loves to come out. Either way, Roya is still a tiny baby (I have no idea how old). She has a long way to go.

Still praying Roya turns out to be a girl :-)


UPDATE!!

This morning I worked with Roya for a short period of time. She climbed out of her cage but was a little skittish of climbing onto my hand. After a little coaxing (putting my hand in front of her and lifting to encourage climbing up) she climbed up. I could tell she wasn't too comfortable, hence keeping the session fairly short. I worked on hand walking with her and allowed her to jump from hand to hand. Once working with her for a bit, she calmed down a bit but kept on the move. I can tell that she will make a great girl.

I am hoping her color keeps the orange tone and hoping she will darken a bit more. We shall see!!

I want to get her bigger and more comfortable with me before looking for pores. Plus I have no idea of the weight on her yet. Looking into buying a scale ASAP :-)
